Our First Collaboration with
St Thomas Aquinas Church
We are proud to announce the launch of our first collaboration with Saint Thomas Aquinas Cathedral, here in Reno Nevada. Since its founding over a century ago, this cathedral has been home for many faithful parishioners who have derived comfort and compassion from their beloved place of worship; now it is becoming an integral part of providing assistance to those less fortunate across Washoe County.
As we navigate these unpredictable times filled with uncertainty, moments like these act as reminders that even when all hope seems lost there’s still light at end—the generosity shown by churches such as Saint Thomas can help us remember just how powerful communities coming together can be! It was through the unwavering support offered by Pastor Chuck Durante and his congregation that allowed us establish this donations bin intended to collect food or clothing items benefitting members within our local homeless population – if you were able to donate we thank you as you’ve truly helped to make a difference for our brothers and sisters in need!
Every day, thousands of homeless and unsheltered individuals go without the sustenance they need. Here in Washoe County, we are blessed to have a network of non-profits that provide vital services for those on society’s margins; however there is still an immense amount of work left to be done. Through supporters like Saint Thomas Aquinas Church—and through your generous donations—we’re able take one big leap forward in our mission towards providing essential resources, such as food items directly out onto our community’s streets where it will truly make a difference by actually touching people’s lives. We can’t thank you all enough for supporting us in the start of our journey and ultimately remembering what matter most: taking care each other no matter who we may encounter during our short time here on Earth.
In summation, we are beyond grateful to the Saint Thomas Aquinas Church and all its members who have shown us kind support. Together, let’s keep reaching out to help our community with whatever means necessary! As Jesus said in Matthew 25:40 “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it unto me”—let this be a reminder that by showing love towards those most in need can bring hope into even some seemingly darkest places. Thank You All Again For Supporting Us In Our Mission Towards Improving Lives And Remember What Matters Most – Always Taking Care Of Each Other With Love & Compassion!
